Consists of 120mm circular metal discs mounted on insulated supports that slide on an extruded aluminium section to adjust the distance between the two discs. This distance can be easily known by reading their respective positions along the scale fixed on the aluminium section. Supplied with three different dielectric materials - glass, cardboard, and lucite.

Electrical connection to each disc is made by 4mm terminals so that a high voltage Power Supply (item code 2615001) can be connected between the discs to deposit an electric charge and subsequently an Electrometer (1840001) can be connected to measure the electric charge between them.

Size: 280 x 150 x 70mm.  Adjustable plates are 120mm.
