These semicircular plastic cells are perfect for observing the refractive properties of different liquids such as water, oil, alcohol, or other transparent liquids. The refraction cups are made of a clear, durable plastic.

The new design features printed protractor markings on the bottom to easily record the results of your experiments.

Fill these semicircular cells with different liquids to observe their refractive properties. To help measure the angles, there is a printer "protractor" on the base of the cup that is marked with degrees along the curved edge.

Locate the object and its image and use Snell's Law to determine the index of refraction.
