The Sound Box is a function generator, amplifier and speaker all integrated into one convenient and fully portable unit. It is battery or mains operated (power adaptor available as an optional extra, or unit runs on eight C size batteries).

The Sound Box generates a choice of square, sine or sawtooth waveforms with a frequency range of between 20Hz and 100,000Hz.

The Sound Box provides a choice of two outputs:

• BNC socket for viewing the waveform on a cathode ray oscilloscope (cro); or

• Banana sockets for connecting to an ancillary speaker to perform interference of sound experiments.

Demonstrating sound has never been so easy! Use the optional 2nd speaker for a brilliant demonstration of noise interference. Stand in a node and hear the 'silence'. With output terminals to view the waveform on a digital/cathode ray oscilloscope.
