Durable gauze with ceramic center for flame and thermal protection and longer life. The gauze is made of woven 10 mesh galvanized iron wire with turned edges to prevent fraying. The ceramic center (non asbestos) is permanently enmeshed under high pressure to elimainate peeling.  It contains a small quantity of organic binder which may temporarily produce a small flame and/or small amount of smoke when gauze is first heated.
